UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA, ESTEBAN SCHOOL EXTEND PARTNERSHIP FOR QUALITY POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION
The University of Western Australia (UWA) and the Esteban School in Manila recently signed an agreement to extend their partnership in bringing quality Australian postgraduate education to the Philippines.
Presided over by Australian Embassy Deputy of Head Mission Stephen Scott (centre), the contract was signed by Dr Chris Perryer, Director of International Programs of the UWA Business School (right) and Antonio Esteban MBA (left) of the Esteban School. The event was also witnessed by Dr David Plowman, UWA Director of Postgraduate Programs and attended UWA faculty, alumni and students.
“This partnership gives Filipino students the opportunity to acquire postgraduate education that is internationally recognized and highly regarded by employers around the world,” Mr Scott said.
UWA is ranked among the top 100 universities in the world, including by the Times Higher Education- QS World Top 200 Universities (2008) and Newsweek (2007). Professors from the Perth campus regularly fly to Manila to teach the classes.
