COMMONWEALTH COUNTRIES HOLD EDUCATION EXHIBITION IN MANILA

Australian Ambassador Tony Hely explains the benefits of international education and what Australian education has to offer during the press briefing for the 2006 Global Education Alternatives: A Commonwealth of Choices Exhibition held in Makati City recently. Organised by the Commonwealth Education Group, the event showcases various international courses and programs offered by the four Commonwealth countries of Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. At the briefing, Ambassador Hely said that the event aims to provide students with access to quality international institutions and courses and to present a wide range of options to Filipino students seeking world class education opportunities. Also present were (from L-R) Canadian Ambassador Peter Sutherland, New Zealand Ambassador David Pine and British Ambassador Peter Beckingham.
