    AUSTRALIAN COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROJECT TURNS 20

Romulo Neri (2nd from right) visit a booth of one of the projects supported by the Philippines-Australia Community Assistance Program (PACAP). They are joined by David Swete Kelly, PACAP’s Project Director (left) and a representative of the PACAP-assisted project. PACAP held a three-day National Community Development Forum at the Waterfront Insular Hotel in Davao City which highlighted improved community development approaches and showcased the contribution that PACAP has made to community development over the last 20 years. PACAP is a program of the Australian Government through the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) and since 1986 has supported community-initiated, economically sustainable, ecologically sound, and gender responsive development projects through direct funding assistance and multi-level capability building in partnership with local organizations.#
