“Future Unlimited” Seminar to introduce Cebuanos to opportunities for studying in Australia

The Australian Embassy through the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) will be conducting a “Future Unlimited – Study in Australia Seminar” on 28 June 2012 at the Radisson Hotel in Cebu City.

The seminar will provide information to prospective students and parents on Australian education and the process for applying to study in Australia. Presentations on the education system, how to apply to an Australian institution, and visa application procedures will be delivered by Embassy officers. Information kits on scholarships will also be provided.

Australia is fast becoming a destination for Filipino students. In 2010-2011, there were 3,390 Filipinos who travelled to Australia to further their studies. The number of Filipino students in Australia has been increasing by an average of 20% over the past three years. The preferred courses of students are Business and Management, Health, Society and Culture.
