TASTE AND EXPERIENCE AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND IN CEBU
The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) and the New Zealand Trade Enterprise (NZTE) will showcase food and beverage brands at the Cebu Food Expo 2010 from 22 to 24 July at the Waterfront Hotel.
The Cebu Food Expo 2010 is considered the fastest growing and most important food and hospitality event in the Visayas region. More than 100 exhibitors representing products from the Philippines and other countries, including Australia and New Zealand, will participate in the event.
The Taste and Experience Australia and New Zealand booth at the expo will give Cebuanos the opportunity to taste and experience the best food and beverages that Australia and New Zealand have to offer, including beef, lamb, cheese, butter, wines and kiwi fruit.
Australia and New Zealand are internationally renowned for manufacturing quality products that pass the highest international standards of quality management and food safety.
Australia and Zealand food products will now be available in Cebu through distributors Silverwave Corporation, Wine Warehouse, Zespri, Fonterra, ESV International Corporation, and Aus Zeal Inc. Importers, food service, and retail establishments are encouraged to visit the Taste and Experience Australia and New Zealand booth if they are interested in sourcing food items from Australia and New Zealand.
The Taste and Experience Australia and New Zealand promotion is supported by the Waterfront Hotel and the Resort and Restaurant Association of Cebu.
Austrade will also hold a “Taste Australia” food promotion at all branches of Fooda Saversmart in Cebu from 23 July to 22 September. Shoppers can check out special offers on a range of Australian food products including cookies, cereals, seasonings, condiments, beverages and baby food items.
