Disposal of return to sender documents

We are disposing of return to sender documents from applicants for Australian visas.
Documents mailed to clients in relation to their visa application are the property of the visa applicant. Sometimes, when we attempt to return these documents to clients, they are returned to us, because of an invalid address or because the mail was not collected.
When this happens, we attempt to contact the client three times in order to return the documents.
We are currently storing a large volume of return to sender documents dating back to 2014.
In 28 days, from 18 December 2016, we will dispose of these return to sender documents. If you want to claim your documents, you must complete and follow the instructions of the return request form before 18 December 2016. See: Return Request Form
